C section infection and Hematoma

I’m wondering if anyone can share their experience with this.

I’m 2 weeks post partum after having a c section. 2 days ago I developed a lump on my left side above my scar which they believe is a Hematoma. Today I noticed the very corner of my scar on the right is red and has a tiny amount of fluid coming out of it so I presume a small infection.

Has anyone experienced this? What was your experience? How long for recovery and was it just treated with antibiotics?

I also have a haematoma and I'm 3 months postpartum. No signs at all of it breaking down. No infection so can't comment on that.
I have been advised it will take around 12 months to go so I'm just going to be patient and wait, as much as that annoys me!
I will honestly be amazed if it goes without being removed but nobody was interested in helping with it at all :(

Had this many yrs ago & the physio did some ultrasound treatment to help the haematoma break down & advised me to take arnica pillules to help once home.
