Vaginal problems

Hi all. I'm having some issues down below. My youngest is 7 months and I'm waiting to see gynae. I a few months ago I felt like something was at my vaginal opening which turned out to be excess tissue. The GP doesnt know what it is so has referred me. Still waiting. However, I can feel a pressure in my vagina. I'm not sure if its my vagina or swelling from my haemorrhoids so thought I'd have a feel. I've never really took the time to feel the opening/inside entrance of down there but does anyone else have this... no idea if it's normal or not.

When I put my finger in, the wall of my vagina pointing towards my urethra feels hard. I can't tell if it's just muscle but I cant move it if I push it. It's not soft to push like the back wall towards my back passage. I wouldn't say this is a lump the whole roof just feels hard to press. Obvious im thinking the worst

Hi OP, I have post natal pelvic floor issues and prolapses which feels like pressure, and a lump/ball coming out. Although it is soft and can push it back. Cervix feels harder/firmer than bladder though.
If the wait for gynae can be a long time (I think it is everywhere) would it be worth seeing a women’s health physio privately, like Mummy MOT, if you can afford it. Think it’s around £60. IME they have more knowledge of vaginal lumps and bumps than GPs and might be able to help.
Also if your GP was at all concerned about cancer they would have mentioned the 2 week pathway AFAIK

Hi op did you find out what it is? I’m having the same issues

Hi @Mumofonexo. I had examination in the bum region and all was fine just prescribed laxative and over the counter haemorrhoid cream. Vaginal wise it's still the same and my gynae appointment is after xmas which is over a year since birth 😢

Sorry to hear that OP, does it hurt if you touch it? I’ve got pain in the area marked purple after birth x

@Mumofonexo no pain xx

I think it is my pubic bone or similar
