Getting back to exercise post csection, aching abs

Interested to know other experiences of getting back to exercise post csection.

I am 8 weeks pp following an emergency csection and doing some pelvic floor/pilates exercises and started gentle easy spins of stationary bike and xtrainer. My ab muscles have been a bit achey but section scar fine. Interested to know how others built up their exercise and how they felt?
