Night time anxiety

Hi,

I’m 10w pp following a traumatic birth. Baby now sleeps 4 hours at night, yet I can’t seem to relax and feel tense every night. Every time he moves I tense up thinking he is going to wake up. Sometimes I’m so tense I feel sick. I’ve been having other health issues as a result of being anxious all the time. We are combi feeding now which should help but it hasn’t as I can’t properly sleep. I do the middle of the night feed during the week and my husband the weekend ones. My husband doesn’t think I should take medication but I can’t continue like this.

Does anyone have any tips or been through the same thing?

Thank you x

See your GP; these problems can be solved. Congratulations on your lovely baby 💐.

They suggested medication or talking therapies which I’ve already started

Has your DH articulated why he doesn't want you to take medication? Does he take antibiotics if he has an infection?
