Postpartum sweating

Is it normal to sweat excessively after having a baby?! I'm 2 months PP and I just ring with sweat now. I was out today and my back was wet, I head sweat marks on the back of my trousers where my legs had been crossed and I had actual sweat droplets running down my face!! I NEVER used to sweat like this and I can only assume it's because I've had a baby?
Has anyone else experienced this and most importantly - does it go away?!

6 months pp and it's getting worse with the hot weather x

For about 4 month PP I went from being freezing cold and shivering under a blanket all morning, to breaking out in a sweat whenever I moved in the afternoon/evening! Awful 😖 but yes I was told it was normal

Totally normal. It goes away. I think it might be worse if you’re breastfeeding too?

Also it went away after I started taking evening primrose oil (apparently good for hormones) but that could have been a coincidence 🤷‍♀️ worth a try

Yes I used to wake up in the middle of the night dripping wet and have to change clothes! Think it’s all the hormones and was bf

Well it might be worth getting some bloods checked. It could be normal, but you could be low on thyroid or vitamins/minerals etc
