Giving up the will... Digestive issues postpartum... When will it end!!! Colitis? Gallbladder?

During pregnancy I suffered severely with constipation, infrequent upper stomach pain put down to baby and mucus and bleeding from rectum.

It took the best part of 8 months for the Dr's to stop telling me it was postnatal and would eventually stop realising it wasn't.

I've had a colonoscopy and endoscopy, only thing picked up was mild colitis. However I am still only going toilet every now and then, still constipated and having bloody mucus sometimes this is all that will come out.

I'm having horrible pain almost daily in my upper stomach, bottom of ribs that radiates to my upper back. Literally tear jerking at times. I actually can't imagine living like this forever more but don't know what to do. They are now arranging abdominal ultrasound as other tests and bloods are all normal.

They mentioned the pain could be linked to colitis or gallbladder but I've looked these up and im not certain.

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone's suffered similar, I'm nearly a year postpartum and im desperate for some resolve, I had no issues prior. Tia x

Gallstones can start after anything that causes hormonal changes, I had my first attack 3 months after giving birth.

Yes, it does, mine never went away until I was sick.
