Abdominal pulse

14 weeks post partum and when I’m laying down (doesn’t matter in what position - side, front, back) I have a strong pulsating in my lower abdomen it’s driving me insane I’ve had it since around 15 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound done to check my aorta as that was the doctors main concern and he said it was all fine, I also had another ultrasound to check my
uterus as I had a pretty bad infection after delivery too, but again all fine.
has anyone else experienced this? Or any idea what it could be as it’s starting to cause me anxiety.

I've actually always had this and if I press down on my belly when im laid flat on my back it's super strong. I fluctuate in weight and when im lighter it's more noticeable, when im heavier I don't feel it as much. I thought it was normal to be honest as I've always had it.

I have to say that I still get this now and DD is 8.

Thanks, I’m not a small size and have never noticed it before so kinda freaked me out!

I have this, had my last baby 19 months ago and can see it and feel it without even touching it! I thought it was normal but now I'm not sure lol??

Same, I have a referral to back to gynaecologist but appointment is not until august, I’ve had a abdominal ultrasound done which detected no abnormalities so they think it may be that muscle separation thing, I can’t remember what it’s called.

I had my first DC 8 years ago and I've always noticed this since. Gets more noticeable when I'm bigger but it's definitely there most of the time.
