I had an epidural and then a third degree tear which was stitched up in theatre. Pain hasn't been too bad so far (few days).
I was given compression socks and told to wear them all the time apart from showers, but unsure how long I need to wear them for? I wasn't given any blood thinner injections to take as told they weren't needed.
I'm going to ask my midwife at my next appointment, but just wondering if anyone can advise?
