Period 6 weeks postpartum

I had my baby nearly 6 weeks this Tuesday ago via selective c section, around yesterday evening I ended up getting this type of discharge and when I woke up today I have brown/red blood. It was only there whenever I wiped but later on during the day it did end up on my pad. I haven’t got any cramps and it’s not heavy either.

I was on antibiotics for a bacterial infection but ended them Wednesday and turns out the infection in my scar was thrush but it’s all cleared up.

i was wondering if anyone had their period this early after their second baby? This is my first section but second birth. I just want to know as I’m a bit of a worrier and my doctors haven’t given me my 6 week checkup either

My period returned six weeks to the day with both of my pregnancies, breastfeeding both times.

My periods returned 6 weeks dead on after c sections 3 times over - but to be blunt they were heavy and quite painful - I think what you show is aftermath of infection maybe .

Would you think I should see a doctor or wait till I stop bleeding?

Would you think it’s best to be checked out or wait until bleeding has stopped?

I’d go get it checked out asap every time.
