Csection overhang help

How did you keep it not sore and irritated? My scar is fine but the skin that’s affected by the little apron leftover from the surgery is really angry at the moment.

And did you manage to get rid of your overhang post csection? Any tips appreciated ❤️💛

If you can get some canesten cream (sorry if I've spelled that wrong) and pop it on a sanitary towel. Then sit the towel kinda under the apron bit and just on your scar. It took the irritation away for me really well and 13 years later I still use that in the hotter weather over summer.
Hope it helps, it is such an uncomfortable feeling.

Just realised you also asked about getting rid of it, as you've probably guessed from my other comment 13 years on nope I haven't got rid of it at all. But I have got used to it and accepted it which took a long while to do ♥️
