Strained going to the toilet and felt pain when passing stool. Had a look and I have an external haeamrrhoid. Just when I was starting to feel a little more normal after
My episiotomy/forceps delivery. Has this happened to anyone else? Can't get hold of a GP and online advice I clear - do they just go away by themselves?

How did you manage to see it by the way, Ive never been able to see!!

I use cream and ointment and have to use it for a long time before they finally shrink but I think for some people they sort of sit there and have to be removed.

Try to use lactulose or other stuff to soften the poo otherwise you're tempted to strain again and out they pop. Very painful at times too
