Is it possible to start period 4 weeks postpartum ?
Called the midwife and she said keep an eye on it but I'm just a little confused and wondered if anyone had this too ?
Had an emergency c section and it's been a month now the bleeding slowly stopped and it was (tmi sorry ) but it was like brown discharge and dark brown blood here and there and the completely stopped. But the yesterday and today it was bright red? I wouldn't say it was a lot but whenever I wipe it was bright red and I could feel it when I standup and I'm getting cramps on my right side I just put on a pad to monitor it but is it normal ?

Hi OP I'm 4+6 post partum and after stopping bleeding about ten days ago I started bleeding again at the start of the week - exactly four weeks after giving birth. It's stopped again and was exactly like a period. I spoke to the health visitor who said that it's entirely possible and warned me that I could get pregnant again (a four year old and newborn plus you know still recovering from birth are all fabulous contraception so no chance there!)
