Ebf and irregular periods

Hello

I had my third baby almost 7 months ago. I had a period at 3 months and then nothing for 60 days. Then another and then nothing again for 60 days. I'm waiting for my period now and hoping I have one.

I'm exclusively breastfeeding. My issue is every 30 days I feel horribly hormonal, pmt, anxious and like my period is going to come. It doesn't come and I have about 2 weeks before I feel better.

I didn't have this with my other two - my periods came back regularly at 3 months. I just wondered if there is anyone with a similar experience? I've been to the doctor and he tested my thyroid but that was okay. I feel quite fearful about feeling so hormonal again!

I just had my baby few month ago now 2 month plus but I notice I had a blood spotting few week ago now am having another blood spotting don’t know if it normal or if it’s my menstruation, please what could that be and breastfeeding mom

Both sound normal if I'm honest but if you are worried please do speak to the GP.

OP this is exactly my scenario. I have an almost 6 month old and is my third baby.

I had a period at 4 months PP, felt like I ovulated (which would have been about right) but no period arrived?!

Hello - sorry you are getting them too! For me the symptoms are mainly pms and just feeling the drop in hormones. Without the bleeding I just don't feel there's a release and end up feeling rubbish for a couple of weeks which sucks as it's every 4 weeks!

Is that similar for you?

A google of ghost periods actually has bought some helpful blog posts thanks!

This is what I am feeling like now...

So I had/felt nothing until 4 months PP, I had a period, which was quite short. Then two months later I felt like I was ovulating (checked the tracker app which I use which showed I was about right) then started feeling PMS symptoms and expected a period which did not come.

Since then I have been experiencing symptoms that a period has come but it hasn't (so I'm 10 days late according to the app).

My first and second PP cycles returned at 4 months and 1 year.. but once they returned, I had a regular cycle.

I feel like I have been about to start my period for 2 weeks now but nothing.
