Raised Platelets

Hi All,

I had my bloods taken at 6/7 weeks post c-section due to low thyroid and they also did my FBC at the same time. I have had to have my bloods repeated 4 weeks after as my platelets were slightly raised. I did have a c-section.

Has anyone else experienced this postpartum or following a c-section? Hoping they will have gone down once my results come back from todays test but really wishing I hadn’t googled!!!

Can I ask you what happened about this in the end? I've had raised platelets for more than two years but I've recently Googled and really scared myself about cancer and all sorts! 😩

Hello, so after I had my bloods done again 4 weeks later my levels had returned to normal thankfully. I hope yours do soon!
