Hi everyone, hoping someone can give me a bit of advice whether this is a normal part of postpartum healing or not. Had my first DC just over 6 weeks ago and had a forceps delivery and episiotomy. Have had my 6 week check and the GP said sex may be painful but doable. Taking getting back to sex slowly as still a bit anxious from a difficult birth. I have noticed from touch and oral that after my inner labia becomes red and sore and it will sting to pass urine straight afterwards - any wees after will be absolutely fine. I know that I’m experiencing vaginal dryness but thought with oral it wouldn’t be the same as theirs more natural lubrication?? Anyone with any experience of the same? How long does it last?
