I’m 8 months PP. Had my DS at 33 weeks due to preeclampsia.
after birth BP went back to normal. Then about 4 months later it went back up.

I was put on 10mg of Almodipine & 2mg of Candesartan. This sorted my BP out. My BP was good and stable.

I had a call from nurse at surgery when I requested more medication and she said she wanted to reduce my medication. To just 5mg Almodipine, 2 weeks later BP is very high again. (162/94)

My BP on the higher dose was never too low, so why on EARTH did they take me off it. I’m really not happy. Is this normal practice as I can’t understand why they’d reduce it. If BP was becoming lower id understand.

also will my BP ever go back to normal without medication???
