Episiotomy a year on

Hi all

I had an episiotomy almost a year old however have noticed I feel heavy in that area when on my period and sometimes still feels tender when sitting for a long time. I had a hard time recovering (approx 4 months) and was giving no aftercare advice so unsure if this is normal! The area isnt painful but just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this

many thanks

@Chans11

Sorry didn't what to read and run. I'm 19 weeks pp after episiotomy. It was very painful for weeks after and have what you described but it felt better at 14 weeks. Now feels Bach to normal so would def get this checked over x
