Hey OP. What’s going on?

How long ago did you have DC?

Hope you are well, mumma

PritiPatelsMaker · 06/11/2022 19:22

Do you think that speaking to the PANDAS Foundation could help?

Twizbe · 06/11/2022 19:32

Are you ok? Do you want to tell us what has been happening? Are you safe?

Gunpowder · 06/11/2022 19:40

I’m so sorry. Having a baby is HARD. No one can explain what it’s like until you have one. It is a bit like a bomb going off in your life. You have a huge emotional upheaval, very little sleep and often we are physically wrecked by giving birth and trying to breastfeed. We are here for you and listening if you want to share. You are not alone. I hope you are ok.

How old is baby?
Do you need to get immediate help x

PearPickingPorky · 06/11/2022 20:00

Tell us what's happening OP. How old is your baby? Tell us all the bits which feel impossible.

HebeMumsnet · 06/11/2022 20:37

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.
We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our www.mumsnet.com/webguide/mental-health Mental Health resources]]. You can also go to the www.samaritans.org/ Samaritans website]]
or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.
We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

Gunpowder · 07/11/2022 22:24

I hope you are ok, OP. It is shit sometimes. People are listening if you want to talk.

chocsaucestrawb · 10/11/2022 11:55

You aren't alone x

Being a new mum is so hard. I struggled really bad for the first couple of weeks... 2 months in and I still struggle now but it's getting easier. Everyone always says how your life changes over night when you have a baby but you don't understand until you're in that situation yourself.

Talk to someone you think will understand, another mum. It will get easier x
