Silver nitrate on episiotomy

7 months postpartum. Episiotomy tissue is granulated so have been referred to gynaecology at hospital to get silver nitrate put on it.

Worried about pain and length of recovery.

Does anyone have experience of anything similar?

I had silver nitrate treatment on granulated scar tissue about a year after a hysterectomy, at the top of my vagina. When the gynacologist told me he was going to do it, I wanted to run away! But I didn't feel a thing. Not sure about on an episiotomy scar.
