10 months post partum, bottle fed baby and still no period? 🥲

Hi

So I gave birth to my little boy 10 months ago and I've still not had any period. He is exclusively bottle fed and has been fed that way since 2 weeks old.

I'm not pregnant again and am at the docs and have had blood tests / abdominal scan. All came back as normal except a tiny amount of testosterone was too high but not enough to cause a problem they said.

I've now been referred back to gynaecology but they said it could be months before they contact me.

I'm just getting worried why I haven't had it yet as we want to try for our DC2 soon. Has anyone had this long? I know breast feeders have this, but just interested in bottle feeders.

Thank you, from one concerned mum! 😟 xx

So glad the GP had referred you. Do you have any idea of how long it might be until you get your Appointment?

They said it could be months 😢 I'll just be worrying until then

Do you know who you've been referred to? It might be worth phoning their Secretary, asking how long the waiting list is and making sure they know that you're available for short notice appointments.
