Post birth piles

how long did yours take to go? I am 14 weeks post birth and although they have shrunk, I am worried they will now never go. Just wondered if anyone had piles months after birth that did eventually go?

I think it is piles and not skin tags but not entirely sure. they are not painful or itching, just little bumps on the outside. however occasionally when I wake up in the morning, they are not there and then appear as soon as I've been to the toilet so I would have thought if skin tags then they would always be there.

please give me hope!?

I have tried anusol, germaloid, scheriproct, uniroid, witch hazel and prep H - all with no effect so have now stopped.

So sorry you haven't had any responses.

Hopefully someone will be along soon.

Can't help regarding post birth, more of a solidarity post as I have piles like grapes at 36 weeks and hoping they go away after as they are awful! Am interested to hear what others say!

I have 3DC borrn vaginally. Got piles with the first, sure they disappeared after although they may have just been inside. They came back with the second and never went, they don't hurt or irritate me or balloon up either so I'm assuming they're just skin now 😞
It's not very nice down there and it limits my sex life as I'm so self conscious.
I've used most things available. Drs are not much help, I've been a few times and prescribed different creams.
I think I'll have to have them surgically removed at some point when the kids are a bit bigger as I feel unclean sometimes after a bowel movement.

Sorry this isn't helpful as I have no advice but you're not alone.
