C section recovery

Hello. So I had a c section 4 days ago and now when I get up it burns on my right side
It's not constants but if I stand up or sit down
I'm trying to use my arms and leg muscles but I forget myself.
Had anyone experienced this?
How can I get out of bed or off the sofa without the burning.
Thank you

That sounds really uncomfortable. Could you talk to a MW about it? Maybe you need checking?

I had all sorts of funny sensations when recovering from a CS with dc1 so I wouldn't assume the burning feeling is wrong unless it's more painful or there's something else going on too. No harm in getting checked out

In terms of getting up:
-from lying, roll onto your front, move to kneeling, then stand.

  • from sitting on the sofa, I'd attempt something similar.
Essentially it changes the muscles you're using to get up from those around the Cs to the ones in your legs and back.

Hope you're recovered soon
