I've always had long irregular cycles from around 36-40 days. But every month whenever I was going to have my period a day or two before I would get cramps and mood swings.
I'm a mom to DS (2 years old) and DD (7 months old), both are breastfed. My son before going to sleep/nap and my daughter is still fully breastfed (she doesn't like solids, we're working on it).
Not so much after giving birth to DS, but with DD every month I have cramping but my period doesn't show off until 2 weeks later or so, my mood swings come and go. But I've had my period every single month.
I've had unprotected sex with my husband after a few days of having cramps, as part of natural family planning.
This month, how it's been well over 2 weeks now and there's no sign nor show of my period, and honestly I'm starting to get a bit worried. I know NFP is not fully safe, but the risks are low. Besides when I was trying to get pregnant with DD I had to significantly reduce how much breastmilk I was giving my son in order to be able to conceive; and my son ate quite a lot of solid food, which DD isn't and she's still basically fully BF.
I wonder if it's possible for a period to simply just not come like this, when I've been having them previously every month. If it could be because my daughter is drinking more. Has something similar happened to anyone?
Thanks for your time :)
