Hello. So not to bore anyone and to cut a long story short.. I am 6 and a half months postpartum. I’ve been to the breast clinic twice in this time, I found a little lump under my left armpit just after Christmas that turned out to be a cyst and then had to go back to the clinic weeks later because I was having one leaky nipple they did an ultrasound and couldn’t find any issues. I have also had general pain in the said breast pretty much on and off since birth. The nipple is different to the right (I know they are symmetrical) and it itches at times. I also feel I have “mothers shoulder” if you will. So that’s where DS lies when I feed him, his head against my left breast. I also use that side a lot when carrying the seat etc.
I feel it’s so strange tho that it’s only effecting one breast, one shoulder. It’s really hard because when you go to the GP with breast pain they fob you off saying it’s hormonal and probably to do with your cycle but yet every site says it’s usually both breasts that are painful not one of due to hormones. I’ve asked so many mums/women about it and they say they have both breasts sore usually. Anyone on here like me who has an issue with just the one??

Thank you
Katie xx
