Strange period few days after stopping bfeeding toddler

DD is 21 mo and I have stopped bfeeding her less than a week ago. My period came came when she was 4 mo and has always been fairly regular since.
Today, 5 days since stopping bf, I have had what I think is the beginning of this month’s period, except it isn’t due for at least another two weeks… Could this be the hormona being a bit all over the place after the recent change or should I worry it’s something else? Has it happened to you?

This has just happened to me, mines have been regular since I got them back give or take a day, but I stopped breastfeeding and they were a week late and seem a bit different from how they were flow wise. I was only doing a small feed at night on one breast so I didn't expect them to change but it will just be the change in hormones 😊
