Lightheaded and dizzy

Hey.
I had my baby 5months ago and since have the baby I'm so lightheaded and dizzy and feel like I'm going to faint, even when I'm sitting down and my vision is terrible since having baby to. I'm at my wits end with it now and honestly feel like I'm on the way out. I've had bloods done and they were fine. Doctors are not listening to me and I dont know where to go from here. Slowly feel like I'm losing the will. Has anyone else experienced this? Or can point me in the right direction

So sorry that you're suffering like this @2021k, it sounds awful.

I was going suggest going to the GP but you've already done that. Do you know if they checked your iron levels and did they check your Blood Pressure.

If your vision is terrible it might be worth booking for an eye test, if you haven't already Flowers

I agree with getting an eye test first.
Then I’d go back to a different doctor if you can. Did they look at you assuming it was anaemia, or did they consider inner ear/vertigo ?

My iron was a little low but I got an iron infusion and it's fine now. I had high blood pressure after having the baby but that's fine now as well. I'm going to book an eye test, I'm just assuming my eyes is part of what's going on. Some days it's worse than others 🤦‍♀️

Was checked for inner ear and also treated for vertigo. Not that either 🤦‍♀️ it's so frustrating. I'm back with the doctor the end of the week

Hope you get an answer at the GP Flowers

Hey sorry I know this is a old post but I'm going through a similar thing with the dizziness. Did they find out what it was ? I just don't feel like my eyes are my own and I'm on a ship feeling.

Never got an answer. Had every test known to man. Was a relief to know nothing serious was wrong but was extremely frustrating to go threw. I did loose a good bit of blood and was only given an iron infusion so I'm putting it down to that. I also had an eye test and needed glasses after having baby. I have to wear them all the time now, is your vision bad after baby? Maybe look down that route to. And has your thyroid be checked? Took me a year to be over the light-headedness and dizzy to go. Hope you feel better soon it's honestly so horrible xx

Thank you for replying sorry for the delay ! I'm known hypothyroidism and it's on going and they are still managing it and trying to tweak my levothyroxine meds so maybe it's that. I had a review today and just mentioned it and now they want ECG and a cardiac referral!! I have health anxiety and exhausted because my son is 5 months and just doesn't sleep so I thought it was because of that but now I'm scared it's something else. I did say to the GP isn't that a bit crazy to refer me and he said " you know what the NHS is like and with law and if I don't do it it could go against me" . It's just all so scary xx
