Period at 8 weeks postpartum?!

I think my period might be returning at only 8 weeks PP and I'm slightly furious 😬 I'm exclusively breastfeeding so really didn't expect it for another few months at least. Anyone else have the same?

With my baby who fed round the clock, at least 2 hourly, I ovulated at 11 weeks postpartum. I was robbed. DS fed infrequently and slept well and my periods didn't return for over a year.

I was really hacked off! It does happen pretty commonly.

Well yes a good few years ago now as eldest DD is 14 but mine started less than 3 months postpartum while exclusively breastfeeding. So that was definitely very disappointing!

Lucky you! I EBF'd too and it came back after 28 days. So bloody annoying

Ugh ok not just me then. Dr google told me it was unusual before 6 months. So naturally I started convincing myself I had a prolapse or something 😬
