Post natal indigestion

Hi, I gave birth 4 days ago to a beautiful baby girl who sadly was stillborn. The day before when my waters broke - I was sick maybe 3 times in the morning. During labour I was quite violently sick - 3 or 4 different times. I had not eaten at all that day and was only bringing up acid. The midwives then gave me an anti sickness medication which worked.

After I’d given birth, the midwife gave me omezprazole and I’ve been prescribed this by my doctor since - taking 20mg once in the morning and once in the evening. I took this in the last month of my pregnancy and it instantly worked and was bliss.

Not having as much luck this time and I’m in agony with heart burn / indigestion in my chest, breasts, under breast and back as soon as I swallow anything. Even water / milk.

Did anyone else have this ? I’m worried about the first poop as I literally haven’t been able to eat since giving birth !

Sorry for the long post. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. X
