When to take the mini pill?

Hi all!

My little girl is 17 days old and I've just collected my mini pill from the doctor as I'm part breastfeeding part formula fed as baby has dropped her birth weight.

When am I good to go with my other half? 😂 the instructions to take it no later than day 21-28 days after birth but can I take it before? Is it effective immediately? X

Normally 2 days of pill taking to be covered by the mini pill although I think taking it from day 21 after birth covers you anyway. I'd maybe give it 2 days just to be sure though
