When can I start putting oil/lotion etc over the wound?

Also I'd like to fake tan at some point, should I avoid wound area?

I'm 6 weeks post partum and wound is healed over

I waited after 8 weeks but it could be 6 weeks as I was told by the health visitors and midwives.

I never even asked about this! But tbh I don't think I often put cream/oil down that low as I don't shave down there!
