Feeling down

I've just had a baby and feel like I want to cry all the time, not sure if this is normal? I also felt similar during the pregnancy but thought it would go away once baby was here.

It also doesn't help me and baby's dad are currently on the rocks and he has said he is unsure about the relationship. He also doesn't live with me so I am doing majority of it alone.

With a newborn and being a first time mum I think I am really struggling to hold it together. I don't know who to turn to. I don't want to confide in my family as will feel like a massive failure.

Completely normal as your hormones are settling down. I would keep talking to your health visitor. Hope you feel better soon

Very normal it usually passes quickly - st the time it's scary my baby is 11 months but I still often think about those baby blues and how out
Of sorts I felt. Feel better soon x

Your family will want to help! It is hard even with support so try and get all the help you can, I don't think people are as honest as they could be about how hard it is with a newborn! Sending you hugs, you are doing great.
