Possible Silent reflux/GERD

Hi all,

Looking for some advice from anyone who has been through similar problems with reflux.

My baby is 12 weeks old and for the last 3 days he has been bringing up his milk after feeding (ebf). He's gasping and choking on the milk in his throat but very rarely actually throws it up. He has been sick a couple of times when I burp him. It starts almost immediately after feeding and I keep him upright in a sling and make sure I've burped him properly. It tends to peak around 20 mins after feeding and with lots of cuddles, pacing the floor and keeping him upright it eve tually clears. His lungs sound very chesty and he coughs to clear it.
Lots of arching his back and horrible screams.

He's had this from birth but never this bad and I realised cutting out fish from my diet helped. Also cut out diary and soy now but only few days.

Does this sound like silent reflux? Or GERD? I previously tried gaviscon and carobel when symptoms weren't as bad but I'm yet to try again as not sure this will make him worse.

It's so awful watching him choke and get so upset. Amazingly he's not too bad through the night and sleeps well but the daytimes are spent constantly walking around with him in a sling which is hard as I've got a 2 year old too.

I'm considering finding a private paediatrician this week if things don't improve.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏
