Opened episiotomy wound- healing time?

My baby is now 7 weeks. My diagonal episiotomy wound opened and was infected a few days after birth. I was well cared for with antibiotics and checks by midwife... 7 weeks on and I can now sit and drive etc but the wound still looks raw and stings when I wee and sometimes bleeds a little.
Has anyone had this and really how long did it take for the raw wound to heal?
Xx

I've not had a problem with previous episiotomy but I had a c section 12 weeks ago and dropped a couple of stitches from the incision. I had to keep good back to the gp practice over three or four weeks and tried a few things but got there eventually.

I'd go to your gp practice and keep going back until it's sorted. 7 weeks is far too long to be in that much discomfort.

I have been back to docs and midwife frequently... they say they don't restitch it is healing but due to where it is and that it is open it will take a while... I just wish I had an idea of what a while is.
