My hair is falling out massively I've been feeling nauseous on and off I'm so tired even though my partner lets me get lots of sleep about 8 or 9 hours a night just waking to do one feed the top of my back has randomly started hurting and my foot randomly swelled up so I couldn't walk properly also I keep having really hot flushes....

Is any of this "normal" should I be worried or am I being overly dramatic....

I would say it is normal because I am going through similar too. It's so much hard work physically and it's even harder when you got medical conditions too. Us mums are still expected to just get on with it to prove to others we are "good mums". There are too many expectations for us mums, people expect us to be perfect like Mary Poppins or something, and if not we get mum-shamed. I don't understand. All we can do is try our best. In my situation, I have issues with the c-section bulging belly that has not gone away since pregnancy, I tried everything, my c section wound is very slow to heal, people think I'm fat but really it's the surgery wound healing, I have done the dieting and nothing seems to work. I still get really bad pains on my wound everyday since the surgery a few months ago, I have to take painkillers.

Yes the hair failing out is normal. I would ask for a blood test to see if you’re anaemic as I was exhausted and that was the problem

Sometimes thyroid issues follow pregnancy. It would be worth getting blood tests for thyroid issues too.

@mayblossominapril @Justajot thanks ladies I'll give my gp a ring

@dreamingdream sorry you're having a tough time you definitely shouldn't put too much pressure on yourself to diet so soon after having a baby there's plenty of other stuff to worry about stuff what other people think you do you
