Hard lump inside c-section wound

I'm over 8 weeks postnatal and still have a painful hard lump inside my c-section wound. Has anybody been through this? How did your doctor sort this hard lump?

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️ Only I’m four years’ post-section. Give it time. It may settle and disappear.

My lump however is endometriosis. Only had it diagnosed the other day.

Sorry to hear about your endometriosis diagnosis. I think I might have this too or something similar, I don't know. I have spoken to NHS 111 about the hard lump on the wound and they told me speak to my GP. I need another postnatal check up, a proper one.

Thanks.

I think it’s very early days for you. Mine changed a lot over the course of the first year, both times.

I knew I had endo before it was diagnosed because the lump is so linked to my cycle - I can barely feel it most of the month and then it becomes like a golf ball during my period

But yes definitely see your GP. My eldest is 7 and when I had her, post natal care was pretty good. When I had my youngest 4 years ago it had markedly declined. I can’t even imagine what it’s like now, especially with Covid.
