5th degree tear?

Hello,

So I am 3 months postpartum after traumatic pregnancy, the birth also being the most traumatic event when it was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. Wanting to discuss this in order to seek advice and positive recovery stories.

Basically my birth ended up in a forceps delivery (I wanted a c section and didn't want barbaric tools near me), low and behold I sustained a 3rd degree tear, misdiagnosed and 3 days later had surgery for 4th degree, sphincter complex was torn plus had a rectovaginal fistula.

Now it transpired I have a vesicovaginal fistula as well and my perineum doesn't look right at all! I was wondering if anyone had, sadly, experienced a 4th degree tear and if a full recovery was made? I went in a fully functional person and came out with delibitating injuries for which I am still waiting to be "fixed". I don't even know if sex will ever be the same again after so many surgeries there. And whether continence would improve or not.
I am just asking for a hand to hold and some positive stories to get me through all of this!
