Postpartum prolapse and incontinence

Hi all!

I just had my second baby 5 days ago and I have some postpartum issues that I didn’t have after my first baby. With my first I had a very minor vaginal wall prolapse (the wall just lowered a little bit) which never bothered me. This time I can feel it sticking out of my vagina - so it’s definitely more severe this time. And I also need to sprint to the bathroom otherwise I leak urine. I know it varies from woman to woman but I am just looking for stories. If you have experienced something similar did it get better for you over time? Or did you need doctors’ interventions?

I had a prolapse after my third.

It was a much quicker delivery than the first two, which is apparently why it happened.

It did go away. It took a few months & when my GP advised me to give it 6 months before going down the surgery route I was sceptical. But yes, it did resolve within 6 months & DD is 10 now.
