Lumpy boobs

Hi all,

I’m coming up to 5 weeks pp and have been bottle feeding DD since she was a week old, prior to this I was exclusively breastfeeding but had to quit for a number of reasons.

Since quitting I’ve noticed that my boobs have been really lumpy, which I understand may be blocked ducts. I’ve been massaging and hand expressing gently and they are going down but I can’t seem to shift them completely. I have literally droplets of milk coming out at this stage and my boobs are very soft but I was wondering what I can do to rid of these lumps completely? Km worried that im going around in circles by hand expressing them out.

As a side note I also have fybrocystic breast disease which I don’t know whether has possibly flared up or been made worse by my massaging or breastfeeding in general? Sorry I’m so completely clueless!

Just to add, when I do manage to massage some of the lumps out and get tiny amounts of milk I get a very strange shooting pain that comes and goes in my breast. Is this normal?
