Hi I had my baby 8 weeks ago. My pregnancy was horrific as I have exteme sickness (HG) my birth was horrific, I had massive haemorrhage and retained placenta some weeks later I had developed maternal sepsis, I have nerve damage from the epidural and pelvic organ prolapse and very painful haemorrhoids which are bothering me no end I have got prescription cream but it isnt helping. Ive been managing my anxiety with the perinatal team but right now I feel like curling up into a ball and sobbing. Im struggling to picture feeling better again and I just want to enjoy my baby pain free

Oh gosh you poor thing that sounds very traumatic. The post birth hormone ups and downs are bad enough without the extra pain and it must just feel like one thing after another. It’s perfectly fine to have some periods of curling up and sobbing. Don’t have any advice to offer other than keep pushing for help from GP/HV if needed for the pain. Hopefully someone else will come along who has been through these specifics and have better advice. Really hope you feel better soon
