Anyone else struggling with how they look after a baby? I'm 35, almost 3 weeks postpartum, was always a size 8-10 and gym fit and toned before, my whole life. It's so alien to me to suddenly have a podgy tummy and large thighs, I can't stand to see my reflection in the mirror at the moment as I don't recognise what's looking back. I used to run and do gym classes 2-3x a week before this baby. Please tell me there's hope to get my body back? I adore my beautiful baby so I don't want to sound ungrateful for what my body has been through and accomplished, but I just don't feel or look at all like myself and it's getting me down. 😥

I have the same feelings to an extent, my LO is 9 weeks and my belly has reduced a lot since, but still nowhere near what it was pre-pregnancy. It's not advised to do strenuous exercise for breastfeeding mamas, so I'm holding off until I stop it. I'd prefer to hit the gym regularly and go on strict diet to shed weight quickly, than start some sort of light diet/exercise whilst breastfeeding. So I see things as being only temporary, as it was after my first LO.
