My lochia stopped around the 4/5 week mark and then my period returned at around 6/7 weeks the first period lasted 10 days and the the following 3-4 following my bleeding would continue on and off sometimes being bright red and sometimes being old blood. Had my second period last week lasting a week but the same thing of the on off bleeding is happening again and wondering whether this is more common than I think? With my first when my period returned they were a bit random for the first 6 months but soon settled and I didn't continue to have this on off bleeding a week after I had supposedly finished?
