Hi everyone! I've been told that a peri bottle may come in handy in case you tear. Are there any other items that were good things to have to take to hospital / have at home to help you recover?

Huge water bottle as maternity wards can be really hot
Nice shower gel and shampoo for hospital and home
Lansinoh nipple cream to help establish breast feeding ( nobody tells you that it can be painful) - it really helped me
Lots of healthy snacks including dried fruit
Comfy PJs
Big knickers
A partner who understands that his role is to take care of you (bring food and drinks) so you can rest and focus on the baby
Loads of food that's easy to cook

Good luck with the birth ☺️
