Has anyone had experience with a vaginal inclusion cyst?

Around January time, I found a lump on the right inside of the vagina. Obviously, I was worried, so I booked in to see a gynecologist who diagnosed the lump as an inclusion cyst. She said it was exactly on the line of my episiotomy scar and caused by trapped tissue.

Anyway, I've always had mild OCD, but this seems to have set off a sort of health version of it. I worry about it all the time despite the diagnosis. Now I'm looking into getting the cyst taken off privately (I don't think they would do it on the NHS).

Looking online, only the other type of vaginal cysts usually get taken off. My consultation notes said that nothing needs to be done about a cyst of this size.

Has anyone had an inclusion cyst removed? Has anyone had one disappear on its own?

Hey I have exactly this- how did you get on?

Had a cyst in exactly the sane place although it was a sebacous cyst. I had to see gynae and have it drained.

Have also had pea like cysts removed from labia inside, had them hulled/removed and sewn up

Both times local anaesthetic done in half hour
