Mastitis, tongue tie, thrush. Help!

I'm the very proud mama to a two week old (William) and a three year old (Thomas).
I breastfed Thomas for a year. He had undiagnosed tongue tie and we made do. I got mastitis just once with him but never needed treatment.
The last two weeks have been the best and hardest of my life. I got mastitis over a week ago and was given antibiotics which didn't improve it and was in and out of hospital in agony begging for new antibiotics or them to do a milk culture. They didn't.
Then a midwife diagnosed tongue tie which we had snipped yesterday. But also discovered we both have thrush.
Tonight has been the worst night; the mastitis breast is less inflamed and I have been feeding him on it in pain. His latch is shallow as the nipple is not soft and I just focused on getting the milk moving but I've spent three hours shaking and crying in agony I think because of the thrush???
I had cocodamol and diclofenic and it didn't touch it. I tried coke and warm packs.
I am trying my best to get through all this as I really do want to breastfeed but the agony tonight......
It's really really hard and challenging.
I was on flucloxacillin for a week which did nothing. Now on clindamycin which has reduced the inflamation somewhat. I have miconazole cream for me and gel for his mouth (his mouth is already much better) and tonight got fluconazole tonight.
I am really struggling. Theee is so little support out there at the moment with the lockdown and I need help. I need support. I need advice.
I'm exhausted. I'm on 600mg x 3 of the clindamycin after 1000mg x 4 of the flucloxacillin and my body is battered. Now this fungal infection. I'm really struggling.
If stopping breastfeeding would solve it all I would stop in a heartbeat but I know that has its own issues and still have to get through the infections anyway then would have to deal with engorgement etc.
Just looking for others who have had similar challenges and got through and successfully breastfed and any tips.
Thanks in advance x

Sorry to hear that It is so painful.

I've been there. I remember the shooting pain down my side and back. I was on paracetamol and ibuprofen for weeks.

Cracked nipples from thrush make a bacterial infection more likely. Meanwhile antibiotics can stop the thrush treatment being as effective.

I'm actually on my second bout in 6 months. But not as bad as realised earlier. I only had it once with my first to.

If you're now taking the antibiotics with thrush treatment at the same time then hopefully they will clear it up. It sounds like you are already past the worse of it, but do insist on a face to face GP appointment, citing the importance of your mental and physical health. It would count as an emergency GP appointment due to.it being your baby's food.

Good luck.

Get in the bath. Breastfeed there.
Take probiotics.
Dangle feed over your baby (out of bath!)
Drink loads and loads of water.
Reduce the sugar and eat more nutrient dense foods for a while to help aid the healing of mastitis.
Get an adult partner to help suck whilst massaging the lumps out.
Contact a lactation consultant.
Do not quit, look how far you've come.
