Sore joints

H, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.. But since having my son 3 months ago all my joints ache. First thing in the morning I am unbelievably stiff until I have gotten up and moved around, and randomly the soles of my feet are really sore. And all day I ache - hips, knees, elbows, shoulders - pretty much all my joints.
I don't see how it can be related to giving birth but I never had this before I was pregnant or during.

Please contact your GP. Sore joints for this long should be looked at. Hopefully it’s just your body adjusting after pregnancy but best to get it checked out and treated if necessary. If it is something and it goes untreated you could end up with permanently damaged joints.

I was the same after my son was born. Doc put me on slow release ibuprofen and ran some blood tests. Nothing showed in tests but the drugs really helped.

I have a 3 month old and I'm exactly the same as you. Especially the sole of my feet in the morning! Nice to know I'm not the only one. I'm 36 and feel like 86 sometimes! 😫

Nice to hear I'm not the only one! It's not something I've ever heard anyone talk about. Wishing now I'd mentioned it at my check with the doctor, but will probably mention it to the nurse at the next jab appointment. Doctors appointments are like gold dust round here atm. I'm kind of just hoping it improves on its own.

Me too! I had achy feet and arches. It got better once I lost the weight. I bought insoles and it helped so much.

I have around 25lb to lose, so I'm hoping that the aches and pains ease off once I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight, as I've never been as heavy as I am now.
I have a HV apt next week so may speak to her about it too
