C section recover

Hi, my c section wound was healing well and I'm not sure what happened but around the 3 week mark it became sore and I noticed it was leaking gunky fluid. Swabs came back it's infected so I'm on antibiotics I'm just wondering when I'll feel better again, I already feel slightly less sore having started the antibiotics but my wound is still leaking small amounts of fluid. I'm drying the wound once I'm out of the shower and letting the air get to it. I'm just hoping the fluid will stop leaking soon and I'll be on the mend sooner rather than later, I'm basically bed bound just so I can rest xx

That sounds rough, hope you're being well looked after.
I'm 3 weeks post section too, I'm sore inside (my abdomen feels puffy and tender) but my scar is dry and healing well.

I hope you're feeling much better soon; drink lots of water and make sure you're not overdoing it.

Thank you I'm just hoping it recovers fairly quickly - it's hard doing nothing but my movements are better than a few days ago xx
