6-7 weeks PP - aching hips and pelvis

I'm almost 7 weeks PP and feeling absolutely great apart from the odd niggle every now and again but the last few days I've been having aches and pains in my hips/pelvis/groin area. It feels similar but not as painful as PGP which i think I had during pregnancy (didn't get official diagnosis as my midwife was useless and wouldn't listen to me). However the pains went straight after I gave birth.

Just wondering if anyone else had this or similar after giving birth? Just seems strange for it to come back after almost 7 weeks.

I have my 6 week check tomorrow with my GP so will obviously mention it then.

Pelvic arthropathy can get worse after birth.
You need to be referred for specialist physio.
I had it after my last two.
Basically you need to be very careful in order to maintain mobility.
Certain things you will need help with as it can literally affect your stability.
Try to get your hands on a pram with a hand operated brake.
The important thing is physio and avoid any abduction of legs.
Pilates is good but has to be with physio who is experienced with pelvic issues.
It does get better (eventually).
