I'm 3 weeks postpartum and I've noticed a little bump right on my scar. Is this normal?

Hi. I had something similiar which turned out to be a little piece of the stitches which hadnt been removed properly. Came out all by itself around 4 weeks after the stitches had been removed.

Thanks. It just looks like a blister type thing. I texted the health visitor and she said wait a couple days and see how it goes.

Hopefully its just a little irritated and will settle down.

I hope so too. I've been wearing big knickers and not letting any air get to it so maybe that's why.

Ive had 5 csections so i know exactly how you feel. I always put a sanitary pad over mine for the first month or so. Just felt like it gave me a little extra support/padding and also helper to keep it dry. Goodluck and congratulations

Wow you must be tough lol! This is my first baby and first section of course so I didn't know what to expect! They told me I should shower everyday but I haven't been doing Blush due to looking after baby.

Tough or daft i sometimes think. 😀Its never as simple or as they make out. Just try to run a wet cloth over it to keep it clean once a day. I ended up with a major infection after one of mine didn't heal properly so was always looking out fof the signs of infection and changing the pad regularly. You know yourself so take it easy 🙂

Yeah I'll just keep an eye on it. Thanks for your help
