Period every 2 weeks

I'm looking for some advice. I'm over 6 months postpartum and I've been experiencing a period cycle every two weeks and sometimes more often. Has anyone else experienced this since welcoming their baby? I'm concerned that it could be something serious but my doctor doesn't seem bothered.

Hello, I think it can take some time for your cycle to settle down after having a baby. My sister experienced this after the birth of her first child. It did settle down but she ended up needing iron supplements. I would make an appointment with the nurse to get your iron levels checked. You'll be tired anyway having a baby to look after. Me too op. I'm 8 months pp now. I think my periods returned at about 10 weeks.

They've not been heavy or anything but every 2 weeks. I've not been to the doctor yet but I have been wondering how long this will continue!
