First period after birth

I am 9 weeks postpartum and had an episiotomy/forceps delivery, I have started to bleed again but don't have any period pains/cramps at all!

Could this be my period? How was your first period following birth?

I'm the same. Lochia stopped around 6 weeks pp then I think my period started in week 9 and is still going strong a week on. No pains but really heavy bleeding all day

@goatsdorhone how are you now? Still bleeding? I'm a week on now and it seems to be calming down now

It lasted about 10 days in the end. I hope that was a one off and next time will be shorter!
